One person died Thursday night, after an accident in Cairo.
The Greene County Sheriff's Office says the person was killed when they were struck by a vehicle on Main Street.
The accident happened just after 6pm at Railroad Avenue.
Main Street was closed for several hours between Railroad Avenue and Bross Street.
GCSO says more information will be released Friday.
