CHATHAM – State Police are investigating the death of an infant.
Police were called for an unresponsive baby at 3:30 p.m. on March 15.
Lifesaving techniques were immediately employed by arriving troopers and then taken over by paramedics from Valatie Rescue Squad, but the infant did not survive.
Investigators from the Livingston barracks responded and the investigation is ongoing.
