Catskill

Drugs:Michael A. Bell, 41, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 7:17 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, in the village of Catskill and was charged with manufacturing drug-related paraphernalia and criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors. He was issued an appearance ticket for Catskill Village Court.

Town of Kingston

DWI:Kathryn A. Griffin, 59, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 7:44 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, in the town of Kingston and was charged with drunken driving (previous conviction within 10 years) and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent (prior conviction), both felonies. Griffin was issued an appearance ticket for Kingston Town Court.

Milan

Sexual act:Chandler C. Stolarski, 22, of Pleasant Valley, was arrested by Dutchess County Sheriff's deputies on Tuesday, March 2, and was charged with criminal sex act, a felony, following a month-long investigation. Deputies said Stolarski is accused of engaging in sexual conduct with a person less than 15 years of age in 2020. He was was arraigned in Milan Town Court and was released on $7,000 cash bail pending a further court appearance.

New Paltz

DWI:DeAngelo J. Dawkins, 33, of Albany, was arrested by Thruway state police at 10:37 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, in the town of New Paltz and was charged with drunken driving, a misdemeanor and aggravated drunken driving with a child, a felony. Dawkins was issued an appearance ticket for New Paltz Town Court.

Red Hook

DWI:Michael J. Carlucci, 25, of Staatsburg, was arrested at 6:50 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, on East Market Street in the village of Red Hook and was charged with aggravated drunken driving and with two counts of drunken driving, all misdemeanors, according to the Red Hook Police Department. He was also issued tickets for speeding and consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle, both infractions, police said. He was released with tickets for Red Hook Village Court.

Town of Woodbury

• Drugs: Tristan Scragg, 25, of New Paltz, and Alba Figueiras, 19, of Kenilworth, N.J., were arrested by state police after police stopped for a disabled Mercedes-Benz C-230 on the shoulder of state Route 6 in the town of Woodbury. Police said a police sergeant stopped to assist the two; Scragg said he had run out of gas. An investigation determined Scragg had an expired registration and that both Scragg and Figueiras were in possession of heroin and hypodermic needles. Police said Scragg attempted to destroy a substance in his shoes, which turned out to be heroin. Both Scragg and Figueiras were charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance; Scragg was additionally charged with tampering with physical evidence, a felony. Both were issued tickets for Woodbury Town Court.
