City of Kingston
• DWI:Dina M. Witte, 21, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:21 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, and was charged with drunken driving, a misdemeanor. Witte was released with a ticket for Kingston City Court.
• DWI:Kristine C. Dekoskie, 47, of Ulster Park, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 1 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5, and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Dekoskie was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.
Cairo
• Contempt:Franklin S. Tiernan, 30, and Kalya B. Salassi, 29, both of South Cairo, were arrested by state police at Catskill at 6:06 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4. Tiernan was charged with criminal contempt (physical contact) and aggravated family offense, both felonies, and with unlawful imprisonment, a misdemeanor. Salassi was charged with criminal contempt (physical contact), a felony. Both Tiernan and Salassi were released with tickets for Cairo Town Court.
Greenport
•Drugs:Carl Hart, 41, of Hudson, and Angela Bridgham, 36, of Claverack, were arrested by state police at Claverack at 1:29 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, and were each charged with criminal possession of an controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Both were issued appearance tickets for Greenport Town Court.
•DWI:Vanessa M. Pinet, 29, of Hudson, was arrested by state police at Claverack at 12:31 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, in the town of Greenport and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. She was issued an appearance ticket for Greenport Town Court.
Marlborough
• DWI:Jennifer L. Mills, 29, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by state police at Highland at 2:50 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5, and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Mills was released with tickets for Marlborough Town Court.
Saugerties
• DWI:Timothy J. Bostwick, 40, of Kovacs Lane, Pleasant Valley, was arrested by Saugerties police at 4:09 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, following a two-car crash on Main Street in the village. Bostwick was charged with drunken driving, a misdemeanor. When processed at police headquarters, Bostwick’s blood-alcohol content tested at 0.17 percent, more than twice the legal limit. He was released with traffic tickets and an appearance ticket for Saugerties Village Court.
Town of Ulster
• DWI:Sean M. Sickler, 34, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:25 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, and was charged with drunken driving, a misdemeanor. Sickler was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.
City of Kingston
• Drugs:Michael A. Giordano, 45, of Mount Marion, and Quaniqua T. Lloyd, 29, of Wilmington, Delaware, were arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:50 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5. Giordano was charged with possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Lloyd was charged with criminal impersonation and possession of a controlled substance (three counts). Both were released with tickets for Kingston City Court.
Hyde Park
• DWI/marijuana:Kyle R. Frace, 34, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 12:45 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, and was charged with drunken driving, driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08 percent, and possession of more than 2 ounces of marijuana, all misdemeanors. Frace was released with tickets for Hyde Park Town Court.
Town of Kingston
• Drugs:Ezekiel W. Russell, 58, of Cummington, Mass., was arrested by state police at Ulster at 8:20 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, and was charged with possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed driving, both misdemeanors. Russell was released with tickets for Kingston Town Court.
Olive
• DWI:Richard C. Countryman, 29, of Shokan, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 7:29 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Countryman was released with tickets for Olive Town Court.
Saugerties
• Burglary/obstruction of breathing:Michael J. Rhodes III, 22, of U.S. Route 9W, Catskill, was arrested by Saugerties police on Friday, Jan. 6, in connection with an alleged burglary and domestic dispute reported on June 15, 2020, in the village. He was charged with obstruction of breathing, a misdemeanor, and with harassment, a violation. The arrest followed an investigation into a report of a domestic dispute between Rhodes and a female victim, who reported to police that on May 18, 2020, when the victim was pregnant, Rhodes obstructed her breathing and threatened to assault her in order to terminate her pregnancy. Rhodes could not be immediately located, resulting in the issuance of a warrant for his arrest. On Friday, as Rhodes was being released from the Greene County Jail, Saugerties Police arrested him on the warrant. He was arraigned in Saugerties Town Court and released with a full stay away order of protection issued on behalf of the victim. Rhodes was then turned over to state police to answer a warrant of arrest for similar charges involving the same victim, and was arrested by state police at Ulster at 8 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5, in connection with a burglary reported at 12:15 p.m. July 17 in the town of Saugerties. Rhodes was charged by state police with burglary with a dangerous instrument, a felony, and with the misdemeanors of obstruction of breathing, acting in a manner injurious to a child and menacing with a weapon. He was released with tickets for Saugerties Town Court.
Town of Ulster
• Weapon/menacing:Eric Swartz, 40, of Esopus, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, and was charged with felony possession of a weapon (previous conviction) and the misdemeanors of assault and menacing with a weapon. Swartz was released with tickets for Ulster Town Court.
• Obstruction of breathing: Dontae Grosskopf, 22, of Sanborn, N.Y., was arrested by state police at Ulster at 1:55 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, and was charged with obstruction of breathing, a misdemeanor. Grosskopf was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.
City of Kingston
• Weapon: David S. Jackson, 45, of Kingston and Adam J. Keller, 28, of Lake Katrine, were arrested at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, by state police at Ulster and were each charged with possession of a weapon, a felony; possession of marijuana and two misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance, all misdemeanors. Also arrested was Justin L. Molloy, 25, of Saugerties, on two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count each of possession of marijuana and possession of a weapon, all misdemeanors. All three men were released with tickets to appear in Kingston City Court.
Catskill
• DWI: Kyle J. Weiss, 23, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 11:20 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. He was released to a third party with a ticket for Catskill Town Court.
• Drugs: An 18-year-old woman from Kingston was arrested by state police at Catskill at 11:14 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, on misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and manufacturing drug-related paraphernalia. She was released with tickets to appear in Catskill Town Court. Police did not provide the woman's name.
Coxsackie
•Drugs:Jackaline M. Thompson, 27, of Coxsackie, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 4:43 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and criminal possession of a controlled substance (narcotic drug), both felonies, stemming from a May 10, 2019, incident. She was released pending a court appearance.
Town of Kingston
• DWI: Lindsey N. Hogan, 34, of Hurley, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:22 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, on misdemeanor charges of aggravated drunken driving and driving while intoxicated by alcohol or drugs, as well as with driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. She was released with tickets to appear in Kingston Town Court.
Red Hook
• DWI: Jack S. Muth, 21, of Tivoli, was arrested by state police at Claverack at 12:55 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. He was released with a ticket to appear in Red Hook Town Court.
Rhinebeck
• DWI: Hans J. Smith, 44, of Hyde Park, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 11:05 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. He was released with a ticket to appear in Rhinebeck Town Court.
Town of Ulster
• Unlicensed driving: John E. Williams, 38, of Kingston, was arrested at 8:09 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, by state police at Ulster on felony and misdemeanor charges of aggravated unlicensed driving, as well as a misdemeanor charge of drunken driving. He was released with tickets to appear in Ulster Town Court.
• Drugs: Dustin B. Hager, 39, of Stone Ridge, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:32 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, on charges of possession of marijuana, a felony, and on misdemeanor charges of criminally using drug paraphernalia and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. He was released with tickets to appear in Ulster Town Court.
