December unemployment up in Hudson Valley

ALBANY – Unemployment inched up in all Hudson Valley counties in December 2020, the State Labor Department reported.

Sullivan County had the highest rate of joblessness at 6.2 percent. That compared to 5.8 percent in November and 4.4 percent in December 2019.

The lowest unemployment rate in December was in Columbia County with 4.5 percent. That compares to 4.0 percent in November and 3.3 percent in December 2019.
