Olive
• Drugs: James A. Stender, 28, of Arkville, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 7:05 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 24, in the town of Olive and charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors. He was released with a ticket to appear in Olive Town Court.
Plattekill
• DWI: Michael J. Sokolowski, 26, of Plattekill, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff's deputies at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, on Cliff Avenue in the town of Plattekill and charged with misdemeanor drunken driving and the traffic offense of speeding. He was released with a ticket to appear in Plattekill Town Court.
