City of Kingston
• Drugs:Tara W. Dougherty, 48, of Kingston, and Dwaine C. Brannon, 47, of Stone Ridge, were arrested by state police at Ulster at 12:04 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 21. Dougherty was charged with tampering with evidence (concealing or destroying), possession of a controlled substance (narcotic) with intent to sell, and possession of a controlled substance (narcotic), all felonies, and with the misdemeanors of possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed driving. Brannon was charged with possession of a controlled substance (narcotic) with intent to sell and possession of a controlled substance (narcotic), both felonies, and with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. Both suspects were released with tickets for Kingston City Court.
Esopus
• Aggravated family offense:Jonathan T. Devoll, 25, of Ulster Park, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies, with assistance from state police, at about 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, and was charged with one count of aggravated family offense, a felony, and with criminal mischief, a misdemeanor, and harassment, a violation. The arrest followed an alleged fight during which property was damaged. Devoll was released with tickets for Esopus Town Court and an order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim.
Milan
• Marijuana:Shawn S. Bracy, 30, of New York, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, and was charged with possession of more than two ounces of marijuana and aggravated unlicensed driving, both misdemeanors. Bracy was released with tickets for Milan Town Court.
Rhinebeck
• DWAI-drugs and alcohol:Amber L. Pease, 34, of Tivoli, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 1:33 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, and was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and alcohol (prior conviction within 10 years), a felony. Pease was released with a ticket for Rhinebeck Town Court.
Town of Rochester
•Obstructing:Ryan D. Dingee, 33, of Kerhonkson, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 8:06 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, and was charged with obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors, following a domestic dispute. Dingee was issued a court appearance ticket.
Saugerties
• DWI:James R. Martin, 61, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, and was charged with drunken driving, a felony (two previous convictions within 10 years). Martin was sent to the Ulster County Jail without bail because of an alleged parole violation, authorities said.
Town of Ulster
• Grand larceny:Joseph T. Bryant, 46, of Rhinebeck, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 5:18 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, and was charged with grand larceny, a felony. Bryant was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court. Further information was unavailable.
• DWI:Sebastian T. Gerstmann Myers, 28, of Woodstock, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 9:50 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, and was charged with drunken driving and aggravated unlicensed driving, both misdemeanors. Myers was released with tickets for Ulster Town Court.
