The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.

Marlborough

• DWI: Kevin Linsig, 56, of Marlboro, was arrested by state police at Highland at 3:50 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08% and drunken driving. Linsig was released with tickets to appear in Marlborough Town Court.

Town of Rochester

• DWI: James Anderson, 72, of Accord, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08% and drunken driving. Anderson was released with tickets to appear Rochester Town Court.

Shawangunk

• DWI: Michael V. Sozio, 26, of Pine Bush, was arrested by state police at Gardiner at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, and charged with the felony of driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08% and misdemeanor drunken driving. Sozio was released with tickets to appear in Shawangunk Town Court.

Town of Ulster

• Marijuana: Nysha Q. Goodman, 19, of Schenectady, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, and charged with felony possession of more than 8 ounces of marijuana. Goodman was released with a ticket to appear in Ulster Town Court.

Cairo

• Drugs: Jennifer L. Demarest, 31, of Selkirk, Samuel I. Kapusta, 37, of Coeymans Hollow, and Sarah J. McCool, 44, of Coxsackie, were arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 3:43 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13. Demarest and Kapusta were charged with one misdemeanor count each of criminal possession of a controlled substance. McCool was charged with three misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. All three were released with tickets to appear in Cairo Town Court.

• Weapon: John P. Reckner, 36, of Mechanicville, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, and charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon. Reckner was released with a ticket to appear in Cairo Town Court.

Coxsackie

• Grand larceny: Jennifer L. Demarest, 31, of Selkirk, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 2:43 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, and charged with felony grand larceny of property valued at greater than $1,000 and felony identity theft to obtain goods. Demarest was released with tickets to appear in Coxsackie Town Court.
