City of Kingston

• DWI: Nadia Persad, 30, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 1:40 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, on West O'Reilly Street in the city of Kingston and charged with drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content at or exceeding .08%, both misdemeanors. She was released with tickets to appear in Kingston City Court. 

Marbletown

• Drugs: Ira Bligen, 48, of Stone Ridge, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:50 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, on state Route 213 in the town of Marbletown and charged with two felony counts each of criminal possession of a controlled substance (narcotic) and criminal possession of a controlled substance (narcotic) with intent to sell. No other information was available. 

New Paltz

• DWI: David M. Sides, 69, of New Paltz, was arrested by state police at Highland at 8:45 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, on state Route 208 in the town of New Paltz and charged with drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content at or exceeding .08%, both misdemeanors. He was released with tickets to appear in New Paltz Town Court. 

Town of Ulster

• Grand Larceny: Jon DeGondea, 34, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 4:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, on state Route 28 in the town of Ulster for an incident committed May 29, authorities said. He was charged with grand larceny and 14 counts of forgery of tokens, all felonies. He was released on his own recognizance to appear in Ulster Town Court.

Ulster County

• DWI: Valery Ceballos, 40, of Woodside, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 2:25 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, on the New York State Thruway and charged with drunken driving, a misdemeanor. No further information was available.

Wawarsing

• Drugs: Christina C. Dennehey, 33, of Brattleboro, Vermont, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 4:10 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, on U.S. Route 209 in the town of Wawarsing and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was released with a ticket to appear in Wawarsing Town Court.
