Two men were arrested after allegedly beating and robbing individual involved in a domestic dispute in Kinderhook.

State Police from the Kinderhook barracks and Livingston Bureau of Criminal Investigation arrested Brandon L. Fielder, 31, of Ghent and Kent J. Stadtlander, 30, of Stockport for first degree robbery, a class B felony, and second degree assault, a class D felony, August 21.

State Police responded to an address on Parker Hall Road for a report of a domestic dispute that turned physical, August 19.

A subsequent investigation determined Mr. Fielder and Mr. Stadtlander arrived at the residence and assaulted the victim with a wrench then stole his jewelry.

Prior to the arrival of Mr. Fielder and Mr. Stadtlander, the victim was engaged in a domestic dispute with a person who was uninvolved in the robbery and assault.

The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Albany Medical Center by the Valatie Rescue Squad.

No criminal charges were filed in connection with the domestic dispute.

Both Mr. Fielder and Mr. Stadtlander were arraigned in Chatham Town Court and sent to the Columbia County Jail without bail. They were scheduled to appear in Kinderhook Court at a later date.
