Greenport
Sheriff’s Deputy Thomas Merante, Jr., received a report of larceny of a wallet from within the purse of a shopper at the Greenport ShopRite store, March 21 at about 1:59 p.m.
A credit card from the stolen wallet was later used to make purchases in the City of Hudson. A suspect was identified through investigation, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Terrence Boston, 59, of Albany was arrested August 18 by Deputy Jordan Brahm on the warrant, and was charged with:fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property, a class E felony, and fourth degree grand larceny, a class E felony. Mr. Boston was arraigned in Kinderhook Town Court and was sent to to the Columbia County Jail without bail. He was to reappear in Hudson City Court at a later date.
