Friday, July 17th :

Hurley

• Drugs:An 18-year-old man from Ulster Park was arrested by state police at Ulster on Station Road at 11:20 p.m. Thursday, July 16, and was charged with three misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance. He was released with tickets for Hurley Town Court.

Hyde Park

• Possession of sexual performance by a child:Richard G. Kelly, 49, of Hyde Park, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, July 16, and was charged with possession of a sexual performance by a child and unlawful surveillance, both felonies. Kelly was released with tickets for Hyde Park Town Court.

Red Hook

DWI:Brendan B. Dugan, 40, of Brooklyn, was arrested by Red Hook police at 10:25 p.m. Thursday, July 17, on East Market Street and was charged with two counts of drunken driving and with aggravated unlicensed driving, all misdemeanors. He was released with tickets for Red Hook Town Court.

Town of Ulster

• Drugs:Megan Lomasney, 22, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 1:36 p.m. Thursday, July 16, on U.S. Route 9W and was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. Lomasney was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.

• DWAI-drugs:Robert A. Russell, 62, of Accord, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 4:30 a.m. Thursday, July 16, on Morton Boulevard and was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor. Russell was released with tickets for Ulster Town Court.

Saturday, July 18th:

Kingston

· DWI:Jezzy D. Warren, 33, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 2:13 a.m. Saturday, July 18, on Broadway, and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Warren was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.

Catskill

· DWI:Martin J. Svidro, 60, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 10:26 p.m. Friday, July 17, on Valley Road in the town and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol level at or exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Svidro was released with tickets for Catskill Town Court.

· DWAI-drugs:Natalya J. Clanton, 21, of Hudson, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 2:35 a.m. Saturday, July 18, on county Route 23A in the town and charged with misdemeanor driving while ability impaired by drugs. Clanton was released with a ticket for Catskill Town Court.

Lloyd

· Contempt:Laquan K. Falls, 24, of Newburgh, was arrested by state police at Highland at 7 p.m. Friday, July 17, and charged with two misdemeanor counts of contempt of a court order. Falls was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.

· Drugs:Leander J. Bromley, 57, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Highland at 10:10 p.m. Friday, July 17, on U.S. Route 9W and charged with four misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance. Bromley was released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court.

Town of Ulster

· Weapon:Cephus J. Jacko, 44, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 4:45 a.m. Saturday, July 18, on Morton Boulevard and charged with the felony of possession of a weapon and misdemeanor aggravated unlicensed driving. Jacko was released with tickets for Ulster Town Court.

Wawarsing

· Criminal mischief, obstruction of breathing:Luke Maloy, 23, of Kerhonkson, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 12:40 a.m. Saturday, July 18, and charged with the felony of criminal mischief and the misdemeanors of obstruction of breathing and acting in a manner injurious to a child under the age of 17. Maloy was released with tickets for Wawarsing Town Court.

Sunday, July 19th:

City of Kingston

• Reckless driving: William T. Brybag, 35, of Kingston, was arrested at 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 17, on Elmendorf Street by state police at Ulster on a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving. He was released on a ticket to appear in Kingston City Court. 

• DWI: Juan Sanchez Cortes, 45, of Kingston, was arrested at 12:53 a.m. Sunday, July 19, on Henry Street by state police at Ulster on a misdemeanor charge of drunken driving. He was released on a ticket to appear in Kingston City Court. 

Esopus

• DWI: Jason T. Pease, 29, of Kingston, was arrested at 8:38 p.m. Saturday, July 18, on U.S. Route 9W by state police at Highland on a misdemeanor charge of drunken driving. He was released on a ticket to appear in Esopus Town Court.

Plattekill

• Drugs: William G. Lowers, 41, of Plattekill, was arrested Thursday, July 16, on the felonies of sale of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. Lowers' arrest' followed an investigation by the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team into heroin sales in the area of his residence in the Forest Park Trailer Park, Ulster County sheriff's deputies said. Lowers was arraigned in Plattekill Town Court and sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of bail. Deputies said Lowers, at the time of his arrest, was awaiting sentencing in relation to a previous arrest by the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Task Force. The previous arrest resulted in a conviction on drug possession and sales charges, deputies said. Deputies said Lowers was released from the Ulster County Jail in January 2020 in relation to those previous charges after bail reform legislation took effect. 

Red Hook

• DWI: Rolf Schuhknecht, 63, of Elizaville, was arrested at 10:01 p.m. Saturday, July 18, on North Broadway by state police at Rhinebeck on a misdemeanor charge of drunken driving. He was released on a ticket to appear in Red Hook Village Court.

Rosendale

• Drugs: Marcus L. Williams, 33, of Newburgh, was arrested Friday, July 17, on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. Ulster County sheriff's deputies said Williams was arrested by the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team following a long-term investigation into heroin and fentanyl sales in the town of Rosendale. Williams allegedly had a quantity of fentanyl and crack cocaine in his possession at the time of his arrest, which came following a law enforcement operation in the town, deputies said. He was released on a ticket to appear in Rosendale Town Court.
