According to the Daily Freeman, here are some of the arrest from over the long weekend!

Friday, May 22nd

City of Kingston

• Drugs:Jacob D. Doris, 42, of Abbey Street, Kingston, was arrested by Kingston police at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 21, at 76 Stephan St. and was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. Doris was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.

Catskill

• Drugs:Nicholas E. Braidt, 28, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Catskiil at 1:15 a.m. Friday, May 22, on U.S. Route 9W in the village and was charged with two misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance. Braidt was released with tickets for Catskill Village Court.

• Drugs:Matthew J. Cornacchia, 31, of Hudson, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 1:15 a.m. Friday, May 22, on U.S. Route 9W in the village and was charged with five misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance. Cornacchia was released with tickets for Catskill Village Court.

• DWI:Vincent J. Kuypers, 70, of Shokan, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 6:51 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, on state Route 28, and was charged with misdemeanor drunken driving. Kuypers was released with a ticket for Olive Town Court.

Town of Poughkeepsie

DWAI-Drugs:Daniel P. Umbro, 36, of Red Hook, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck on Saturday, May 16, on North Road and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, driving while impaired by drugs and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, all misdemeanors. He was released with a court appearance ticket.

Town of Ulster

• Drugs:Michael L. Lilley, 40, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 21, on U.S. Route 9W in the town and was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, along with criminal impersonation and aggravated unlicensed driving, all misdemeanors. Lilley was released with tickets for Ulster Town Court.

Town of Rochester

• DWI:William M. Jordan, 59, of Accord, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 6:05 p.m. Thursday, May 21, on U.S. Route 209 in the town and was charged with drunken driving (previous conviction within 10 years) and aggravated drunken driving, both felonies. Jordan was released with tickets for Rochester Town Court.

Saturday, May 23

Town of Ulster

• DWI:Santos Rivera, 30, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:46 p.m. Friday, May 22, on East Chester Street Bypass in the town and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content at or exceeding 0.08 percent, both felonies. Rivera was released with tickets for Ulster Town Court.

• DWI:Hannah J. Gray, 20, of Kerhonkson, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:47 p.m. Friday, May 22, on state Route 32, and was charged with drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving, both misdemeanors. Gray was released with tickets for Ulster Town Court.

Plattekill

• Keeping an animal for fighting:Nelson Ayala-Diaz, 63, and Ramon L. Bruno, 51, both of Newburgh, were arrested by state police at Highland at 10:30 p.m. Friday, May 22, at 65-67 Krystal Lane. Ayala-Diaz was charged with four felony counts of keeping an animal to fight on premises and four misdemeanor counts of torturing/injuring/not feeding an animal. Bruno was charged with 10 felony counts of keeping an animal to fight on premises, 10 misdemeanor counts of torturing/injuring/not feeding an animal and four misdemeanor counts of owning animal fighting paraphernalia. Both Ayala-Diaz and Bruno were released with appearance tickets for Plattekill Town Court.

Sunday, May 24

Athens

• Drugs:Miranda J. Graham, 33, of Hillsdale, and Stephen J. Ohl, 31, of Hudson, were arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 7:20 p.m. Saturday, May 23, on U.S. Route 9W in Athens and were each charged with manufacturing drug-related paraphernalia and criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors. Both were issued issued court appearance tickets.

Cairo

• DWI:Chad M. Hillicoss, 25, of Cairo, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 12:09 a.m. Sunday, May 24, on Silver Spur Road in the town of Cairo and was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. He was issued a court appearance ticket.

Catskill

• Drugs:Matthew W. Van Tassel, 34, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 3:05 p.m. Saturday, May 23, on state Route 23 and was charged with criminal possession of marijuana (more than 16 ounces), a felony. He was released pending a court appearance.

• DWI:William B. McKnight, 32, of Cairo, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 12:18 a.m. Sunday, May 24, on state Route 32 in the town of Catskill and was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. McKnight was issued a court appearance ticket.

DWI:Julianne E. Wilson, 39, of Clinton, was arrested by Thruway state police at mile post 114 southbound on the Thruway in the town of Catskill at 11:50 p.m. Saturday, May 23, and was charged with drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving, both misdemeanors. She was released to a third party pending a court appearance.

Greenville

• DWI:James Sinclair, 58, of Cornwallville, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 9:22 p.m. Saturday, May 23, on County Route 67 and was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. He was issued a court appearance ticket.

Hyde Park

DWI:Adam H. Lancaster, 22, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 10:21 p.m. Saturday, May 23, at Pine Woods Road and East Market Street and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. He was issued a court appearance ticket.

Marlborough

• Grand larceny:Bruce W. Adorno, 45, of Newburgh, was arrested by state police at Highland at 3:40 p.m. Sunday, May 24, at 5316 U.S. Route 9W and was charged with grand larceny, a felony, stemming from an incident on May 15. He was held pending a court appearance. Further information was unavailable.

• DWI:Jarret C. Edmunds, 44, of Orlando, Fla., was arrested by state police at Highland at 1:57 a.m. Sunday, May 24, on U.S. Route 9W and was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. Edmunds was issued a court appearance ticket.

New Baltimore

• DWAI-Drugs: Lorenzo T. Soto, 19, of Yonkers, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 9 p.m. Saturday, May 23, on U.S. Route 9W and was charged with operating a motor vehicle while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor. Soto was issued a court appearance ticket.

Rosendale

• Contempt:Edward L. Thomas, 30, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing on Saturday, May 23, at 9:05 p.m. and was charged with criminal contempt, a misdemeanor. Further information was unavailable.

Saugerties

• DWI: Christopher A. Kurtz, 44, of Rhinecliff, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:26 p.m. Saturday, May 23, on state Route 32 and was charged with drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving, both misdemeanors. He was issued a court appearance ticket for Saugerties Town Court.

• DWI:Gary C. Jackson, 54, of Brooklyn, was arrested by Saugerties police at 1:35 a.m. Sunday, May 24, on U.S. Route 9W and was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors, and with driving without headlights, a violation. He was issued an appearance ticket for Saugerties Town Court.

Wawarsing

• Drugs:Catlin M. Kirschner, 25, of Accord, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 2:28 a.m. Sunday, May 24, on U.S. Route 209 in Wawarsing and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. She was issued an appearance ticket for Wawarsing Town Court.

Monday, May 25

Cairo

• DWI:Joseph C. Cooney, 35, of Croton-on-Hudson, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 2:08 p.m. Sunday, May 24, on state Route 23 in the town of Cairo and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Cooney was issued a court appearance ticket.

Durham

• DWI:Raymond C. Youmans, 63, of Durham, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 11:42 p.m. Sunday, May 24, in the town of Durham and was charged with driving while intoxicated and criminal contempt (disobeying a court order), both misdemeanors. Further information was unavailable.

Hurley

• Contempt:Jermin F. Knox, 25, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:16 a.m. Sunday, May 24, at 110 Kent Court in Hurley and was charged with criminal contempt (disobeying a court order), a misdemeanor. He was issued a court appearance ticket.

Hyde Park

DWI:Maxwell A. Wood, 24, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 11:40 p.m. Sunday, May 24, on U.S. Route 9 and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. He was issued a court appearance ticket.

Town of Newburgh

Falsifying records:James D. Turner, 62, of Newburgh, and Raymond E. Pousson, 44, of Middletown, were arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 5203 U.S. Route 9W at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, May 23, and were each charged with falsifying business records, a felony, and with false inspection certificate and criminal possession of stolen property, both misdemeanors. Rosendale

• DWI:Blaze R. Boice, 22, of Lake Katrine, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 12:04 a.m. Monday, May 25, on Cottekill Road, and was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Boice was issued a court appearance ticket.

Saugerties

• Contempt:Roberto Santigo-Lopez, 31, of 680 Broadway, Kingston, was arrested by Saugerties Police on Sunday, May 24, at 95 Pine Grove School Road and was charged with criminal contempt, a misdemeanor, after officers were alerted to a dispute at that location. Police said Santiago-Lopez was doing landscaping work in the area when he engaged in a verbal argument with a person with whom he had previously had a relationship and who had an active court order of protection against Santiago-Lopez. Santiago-Lopez was arraigned in Town Court and released pending a further court appearance.

DWI: William C. St. John, 63, of 494 Glasco Turnpike, Saugerties, was arrested by Saugerties Police at 5:07 p.m. Sunday, May 24, on Fish Creek Road. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, a misdemeanor, after the motorcycle he was operating crashed. St. John was released with a court appearance ticket.

Shawangunk

• DWI:Kole E. Burger, 25, of Gardiner, was arrested by state police at Highland at 9:41 p.m. Sunday, May 24, on state Route 208 in Shawangunk and was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Burger was issued a court appearance ticket.
