TOLLS ON THE NEW YORK STATE THRUWAY

WILL NOT BE GOING UP NEXT YEAR. AT THE

THRUWAY AUTHORITY'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS

MEETING MONDAY, A 1.3 BILLION DOLLAR

BUDGET WAS APPROVED FOR 2020, THAT DID

NOT INCLUDE AN INCREASE. THE LAST TOLL

INCREASE WAS IN 2010.

THREE TEENS WERE ARRESTED YESTERDAY

MORNING, AFTER POLICE WERE CALLED TO

A BURGLARY IN PROGRESS AT 54 PARKWOOD

BOULEVARD. 19 YEAR OLD MONIQUE RIVERA

OF HUDSON WAS CAUGHT QUICKLY. COUNTY

SHERIFF'S DEPUTIES AND GREENPORT

POLICE ASSISTED IN THE ARREST OF THE

OTHER TWO, BOTH 16, FROM HUDSON

AND CATSKILL. HUDSON POLICE EXPECT

THE THREE TO BE CHARGED WITH OTHER

RECENT THEFTS.

FOUR PEOPLE WERE INJURED EARLY

TUESDAY MORNING ON THE TACONIC PARKWAY

IN GHENT. FIRE AND RESCUE CREWS

RESPONDED TO THE NORTHBOUND LANES

AT EXIT 91 JUST AFTER 2. WE'RE

TOLD THE ACCIDENT INVOLVED TWO

NEW YORK STATE VEHICLES.

ONCE THE SNOW BEGAN FALLING

YESTERDAY MORNING, POLICE WERE

KEPT BUSY WITH A COUPLE DOZEN

ACCIDENTS ACROSS THE AREA. THOSE

THAT HAD INJURIES WERE ON ROUTE 9H

IN CLAVERACK, ROUTE 51 IN NEW

BALTIMORE, AND ON THE TACONIC

PARKWAY IN GALLATIN.

MULTIPLE FIRE COMPANIES WERE

CALLED TO A HOME ON LIME KILN

ROAD IN NEW BALTIMORE TUESDAY

MORNING, AFTER THE BUILDING BEGAN

FILLING WITH SMOKE. THE RESIDENTS

WERE TOLD TO EVACUATE. NO WORD

THIS MORNING ON THE EXTENT OF

DAMAGE.

AN ORLANDO FLORIDA MAN IS IN THE

GREENE COUNTY JAIL, CHARGED WITH

BEING A FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE.

STATE POLICE ARRESTED 53 YEAR

OLD MARK PARKER ON TWIN POND ROAD

IN JEWETT MONDAY. HE'S BEING HELD

WITHOUT BAIL.
