D.A. CZAJKA ANNOUNCES SENTENCING
On October 24, 2019, Honorable Andrew Ceresia sentenced Renell Harrington, age 66, of Hudson, to two (2) years with the New York State Department of Corrections, two (2) years post-release supervision and ordered him to pay $170 in restitution, upon his conviction by plea, as indicted, of three (3) Counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th Degree.
The defendant committed the crime in the City of Hudson. The Hudson Police Department (Det. Sgt. Jason Finn) investigated this matter and arrested Renell Harrington. Dennis McEvoy, Esq. represents Renell Harrington.
On October 24, 2019, Honorable Andrew Ceresia sentenced Rebecca Cook, age 50, of Hudson, to five (5) years probation and ordered her to pay $170 in restitution upon her conviction by plea, as indicted, of three (3) Counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th Degree.
The defendant committed the crime in the City of Hudson. The Hudson Police Department (Det. Patrick Meister) investigated this matter and arrested Rebecca Cook. The Public Defender represents Rebecca Cook.

PRESS RELEASE – DRUG ARRESTS
As part of ongoing efforts to address open drug dealing in our community, the Hudson Police Department conducted another investigation that lead to several arrests last night.
On February 21, 2019 at about 8:35pm members of HPD executed a search warrant at 10 Frederick Street. A quantity of heroin, crack cocaine, and methamphetamine was seized.
Arrested were;

The month-long investigation was conducted by HPD’s Detective Unit. Deputies from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office were at the scene, and NY State Troopers provided support. Assistant Columbia County District Attorney Joyce Crawford accompanied officers who executed the warrant.
Harrington and Cook were arraigned in front of City Court Judge Brian Herman. Harrington was remanded to CC Jail $5000 cash /10,000 bond. Cook was ror’d to return 02/28 at 11am.
