On April 1, 2019, members from the New York State Police, Troop G Bureau of Criminal Investigations, Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation Child Exploitation Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence on in the Village of Ravena, NY. The search warrant resulted from an investigation that began with CyberTipline reports being made to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
The investigation resulted in the arrest of Stephen J. Brisee, age 24 of Coeymans, for one count of Possession of a Sexual Performance by a Child and one count of Promotion of a Sexual Performance by a Child, both felonies. Brisee was arraigned in the Village of Ravena by Judge Warner and was remanded to the Albany County Jail in lieu of $10,000.00 cash or $20,000.00 bond.
