Hudson man sentenced to prison for Catskill drug sales

People v. Mark Burnett: Defendant was sentenced to 3 years in State Prison plus 2 years post release supervision for the Felony Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree.

On June 12, 2019, Mark A. Burnett, 31, of Hudson, was arrested and arraigned, on a Warrant issued by Judge Terry J. Wilhelm. Bail was set at $25,000 cash/$50,000 bond. Burnett is charged with 2 Counts Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree: Narcotic Drug, Cocaine, a Class B Felony, 2 Counts Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree: Narcotic Drug w/Intent to Sell, a Class B Felony.

The arrest was based on a joint investigation by the Greene County District Attorney’s Office, New York State Police, Greene County Sheriff’s Office and Village of Catskill Police Department.
