The 3rd rape trial of a Stockport man has begun in Columbia County Court.
44 year old Jeffrey Barmen's trials in November and March ended in hung juries.
He was first arrested on the charges in March 2018:

On March 20, 2018 Jeffrey Barmen was arrested for Rape 1st after an indictment was issued by a Columbia County Grand Jury. Jeffrey Barmen was arraigned in the Columbia County Court in front of Judge Richard M. Koweek and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $5000 cash S10000 bond.
The investigation revealed that Barmen committed the offense in March 2017 in the Town of Kinderhook.
