Cairo man arrested after allegedly firing gun during argument

A Cairo man was sent to the Greene County jail, following an incident last Friday night on Old Route 23

The arrest was following an argument between Glen Burdick and another person.

During the course of that argument he smashed the person’s cell phone and allegedly fired rounds from a shotgun at a vehicle on his property.

BURDICK was arrested on 2 counts of Reckless Endangerment 1st, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd, Criminal Mischief 3rd for damage to a cell phone and Criminal Mischief 2nd for damage to a vehicle. (all felonies) 

BURDICK was arraigned before T/Coxsackie Court Judge DORPFELD and remanded to Greene County Jail on $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond with a return court date for the T/Cairo Court on Tuesday June 18, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
