Prayer service to be held Friday for fallen Hudson woman

From Hudson City School District website:

The Hudson Bluehawk community mourns the loss of Fardush Sultana, a dear member of the Class of 2016.

A Janazah prayer service is being held in the Hudson High School gymnasium on Friday, April 19th beginning at 1:45 p.m.

The community is welcome to attend (please enter through the event entrance at the center of the Jr./Sr. High campus). These funeral services are mostly silent with a short prayer. Appropriate attire is full covering on arms and legs. Head covering is optional for non-Muslim friends.

Fardush will be remembered for her smiling face and friendly demeanor. She was a member of the National Honor Society and the track team. Fardush worked to improve the lives of those around her and continued to be a proud member of the Bluehawk community after graduation.

As recently as two weeks ago, Fardush assisted teammates on the Hudson High School Robotics Team #1665. Fardush is the daughter of Abul Bashar and Parveen Akhter of Hudson and the sister of Fariah and Farzana Sultana. She will be dearly missed.

Please join us on Friday afternoon at 1:45 p.m. to remember this bright young woman who left us far too soon. If you would like to make a donation to help cover funeral expenses, please visit the #PrayForFardush fund.
