Stuyvesant Fire and Valatie Rescue were called to Route 9J Saturday afternoon for a one car accident.
Just before 4, a mini-van struck a pole between Promised Land Road and Ferry Road.
Fire officials report the pole and wires came down, which closed the road.
National Grid was called to the scene.
The road was closed until repairs could be made.
