A convicted sex offender from New Lebanon plead guilty today in Columbia County Court, to charges of failing to register as a sex offender. Russell Meyer was the subject of a search last December. According to the Columbia County D.A.'s office, he's scheduled to be sentenced May 20th.

SEX OFFENDER FAILURE TO REGISTER:
A felony warrant has been issued for Russell E. Meyer for Sex Offender Failure to Register and Verify under the N.Y.S Corrections Law.
Meyer is 34 years old and was last know residing at an address on U.S. Route 20 in New Lebanon. Information was received that he may be in the Troy N.Y. area.
