Over half a dozen fire companies were called to a fire at 119 Main Street in Ravena, across from the firehouse Saturday afternoon.

The building received considerable damage. This is the second fire there in recent history.

There were no reports of injuries to firefighters, the building was empty when fire broke out. A cat was rescued from the scene.

The cause is under investigation.
