Fire broke out this morning in a barn at 1422 Route 66 in Ghent. Over half a dozen fire companies with tankers were called to the scene just after 7am
Firefighters had to work in sub-zero temperatures.
We've learned that animals were in the barn, and many have died.
The cause may be due to a heat lamp, but is under investigation.
Route 66 was closed between Orchard Road and George Road.
