FASNY Museum of Firefighting: Pirate Penny's Raingutter Regatta

FASNY Museum of Firefighting

Join us on May 18th, 2024 at 10:30 am for a FREE IN-PERSON event: Pirate Penny’s Raingutter Regatta!

Avast me hearties! Join Pirate Penny, as she reads the exciting story book A Treasure at Sea for Dragon and Me. This story will not only be entertaining for all the little landlubbers, but will also teach important water safety concepts. Joining Pirate Penny for story time is her first mate and everyone’s favorite seadog, Molly! Then join Pirate Penny for her Raingutter Regatta. Children will receive a boat to race in the raingutter waterway. All racers will be able to keep their boat, and will also receive a special treasure from Pirate Penny’s treasure chest for participating! Shiver me timbers, it sounds like a fun morning at the Museum, so don’t miss it!

All activities are FREE and will be indoors and outdoors (storytime will be inside the Museum, while the regatta race will be outside). FREE admission to the Museum will also be offered to all who attend this special event. RESERVATIONS ARE NOT REQUIRED FOR THIS EVENT.
